Woodhead and Habitat 1 win

OFFICE fit-outs using energy-efficient designs and quirky layouts were recognised at this year's Design Institute of Australia WA design awards.

Mt Lawley-based interior design firm Habitat 1 was awarded a commendation for its $3 million fit-out of Horizon Power's new administration centre in Technology Park, Bentley.

The fit-out, covering a total of 2,500 square metres, required the installation of a number of green design features, according to Habitat 1 director Chris Formby.
