Since 1865 the St Vincent de Paul Society has been providing hope, comfort and dignity to West Australians in need through its Home Visitation and Special Works programs. The St Vincent de Paul Society seeks to create a more just and compassionate society by responding directly to needs identified in the community including providing emergency relief welfare to individuals and families in their homes through food, clothing, bedding, furniture and utilities assistance; accommodation and care for the homeless and those with a mental health diagnosis; support and care for street present youth; recreational programs for disadvantaged children; educational support programs; refugee and migrant support; overseas partnerships and development and clothing and furniture shops that assist with welfare and household formation and provide a quality, well priced shopping option for the community.
