MacCormick cleared of insider trading

Perth businessman Malcolm John MacCormick was on Friday found not guilty by a jury in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in relation to one charge of insider trading brought by ASIC.

The charge was brought following an Australian Securities and Investments Commission investigation into Mr MacCormick's alleged trading in shares of the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed company, Walter Diversified Services (WDS).
