Cable Beach fined $60k over accident

The owner of the Cable Beach Club Resort in Broome has been fined $60,000 over a 2006 incident that left an employee permanently disabled.

Hyde Park Management Limited yesterday pleaded guilty to failing to provide a safe workplace and, by that failure, causing serious harm to an employee and was fined in the Broome Magistrates Court.
