Viburnum launches $100m equity fund

Funds management group, Viburnum Funds Pty Ltd has opened the Viburnum Private Equity Fund 2, a new fund targeting private equity investments in small to medium-sized enterprises in Western Australia.
The Viburnum Private Equity Fund 2 will target small to medium-sized expansion and replacement capital investments within the WA market.
The Fund is seeking to raise $100 million from wholesale and professional investors, with a minimum investment of $250,000.
The Viburnum investment team and Board - led by Craig Coleman as chairman and Marshall Allen as managing director - are made up of senior experienced professionals from the WA business community with a proven track record of success in private equity and corporate transactions.
