Nomad earnings up 48% on mining boom

The mining boom has lifted the earnings of South Perth-based Nomad Building Solutions by 48 per cent to $25 million as it forecasts a further increase of 34 per cent in profits for the 2009 financial year.
The company today reported revenue growth of 61 per cent over the year to $336 million while earnings per share rose 24 per cent to nearly 20 cents.
Nomad managing director Phil Guy said the revenue and earnings exceeded recent guidance figures released to the market.
