Austal secures $12m Qld police contract

Henderson based Austal has won a $12 million contract to build three 22 metre catamaran police boats for the Queensland Police Force.
The vessels will be constructed at Austal's Tasmanian shipyard and are scheduled for delivery by mid 2009.
