Stirling growth agent trials near close after delays

Perth-based biotechnology company Stirling Products Ltd has commenced the second stage of trials of the R-salbutamol growth agent in barramundi, and is nearing the completion of trals on swine, the company has announced.

The Directors of Stirling (ASX:STI) wish to update shareholders on the progress of two trials that were announced to the market earlier in the year. The first trial relates to further studies in the application of R-salbutamol as a growth agent for swine. The second trial announced in January this year (ASX 9 January, 2007) relates to the commencement of Stirling's first trial in Barramundi.
